Tree planting ceremony dedicated to the memory of the founding members of our chapter.

Welcoming home troops at DFW airport and donating prepaid phone cards.

The James Billingsley Chapter of the NSDAR creates display cases for the Richardson Public Library each February during American History Month. These display cases contain printed information and artifacts that relate to the American History Month theme selected each year.

The chapter collects Campbell Soup labels and other proof of purchase symbols that support the NSDAR schools and the NSDAR Indian Schools.

The chapter cooperates with local school districts to sponsor essay contests, and other activities that support education, history, and patriotism.

The chapter supports an American flag at the Avenue of Flags at the Veterans Hospital in Lancaster, south of Dallas. Books and toiletries are taken to local veterans’ hospitals several times a year.

The DAR Insignia is the property of, and is copyrighted by, the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
