The James Billingsley
Chapter of the NSDAR creates display cases for the Richardson Public
Library
each February during American History Month. These display cases
contain
printed information and artifacts that relate to the American History
Month
theme selected each year.

The chapter collects
Campbell Soup labels and other proof of purchase symbols that support
the NSDAR
schools and the NSDAR Indian Schools.

The chapter cooperates with
local school districts to sponsor essay contests, and other activities
that
support education, history, and patriotism.

chapter supports an
American flag at the Avenue of Flags at the Veterans
Hospital
in Lancaster,
south of Dallas.
. Books and toiletries are taken to local veterans’ hospitals several
times a
year.
