Jacob's Well Chapter History


In October 1991, Julia "Sally" Ogden was approved as organizing regent for a chapter to be established in Wimberley, Texas.

On January 25, 1992, a coffee was held for prospective members. Ella Sheffield, State Organizing Secretary of the Texas Society, Daughters of the American Revolution and Nancy Tiner, National Recording Secretary General of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, were in attendance.

On April 18, 1992, the Jacobs Well Chapter, NSDAR of Wimberley,Texas, was approved by the National Board of Management.

On May 6, 1992, the organizing meeting for the new chapter was held, with the new officers installed by Ella Sheffield.
