The Sarah Pound Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) held its organizing meeting under the guidance of Organizing Regent Marilyn McGlamery on November 19, 2017, and received its charter on December 5, 2017. The chapter formed with 83 members, making it one of the largest new chapters ever in the state of Texas. Sarah Pound, the namesake of the chapter, was one of the early settlers of the Dripping Springs area. Chapter meetings are held at 2:30 P.M. on the third Sunday of September, November, January, March, and May. |
