Sam Houston Chapter, NSDAR embraces the National Society's belief in "Service to God, Home and Country." Toward that end, chapter members proudly donate their time and efforts to a broad spectrum of community-based projects and events. Chapter member volunteers routinely engage in recognition, celebration, and support of local veterans and active duty military; preservation of historical sites and monuments; patriotic essay contests and citizenship awards at area schools; and annually award college scholarships for deserving local students. Several members of the Sam Houston Chapter, NSDAR are honored to support the National Society by providing multi-level leadership and assistance to state and national committees.
