About Our
Chapter
The Green Mountain Boys Chapter, NSDAR,
meets at noon on the second Thursday of the month from September through May
with the exception of March (when it is held on the third Thursday). We welcome
prospective members to our meetings.
The Green Mountain Boys Chapter is
involved in many community projects, including:
- Service to veterans at the Audie
Murphy VA Hospital
- Providing a scholarship award to a
Cole High School senior each year
- Recognition of JROTC Outstanding
Students at several local high schools
- Collecting box tops and Labels for
Education to support DAR Schools
- Providing flag pins at
naturalization ceremonies int he San Antonio area through the San Antonio Area
Regents Council
- Supporting the Denny Anderson
Chapter, C.A.R.
- Setting up displays at local public
sites in recognition of Constitution Week
- Participating in local patriotic
celebrations
