Band of Giants
The chapter presented the book, "Band of Giants, The Amateur Soldiers Who Won American Independence" authored by Jack Kelly, to the three public libraries in Bosque County. Pictured is the presentation of the book to Meridian Public Library. "Our Constitution Rocks" was presented to a Valley Mills ISD eighth grade teacher of American history. Thanks to individual chapter members sponsoring the book, this book was donated to every eighth grade teacher of American history in our county.

"Band of Giants" was presented to board members of Valley Mills Library.  These ladies are also members of Bosque River Valley Chapter. "Band of Giants" was also presented to Nellie Pederson Civic Library of Clifton.

Spring 2014 Fund Raiser Scholarship Recipient Daniel Chavez
Chapter vice regent and Scholarship Committee chair, Liz Caraway, presents the Bosque River Valley Chapter annual scholarship to a graduating senior of Clifton High School. Clifton High School graduating senior, is awarded the chapter scholarship.
Dr. Larry Cox
Regent Sue Fielden introduced Mr. Larry Cox, who was honored as the chapter’s Outstanding Teacher of American History.  Mr. Cox is a beloved teacher of many years at Cranfills Gap ISD. Our chapter's first presentation of the DAR Youth Citizenship Medal went to an eleventh grade student at Clifton High School.
