Welcome to the Martha Jefferson Randolph Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution

Organized 2 December 1927 in Sherman by Anna Hotchkiss Gillespie.

Our April meeting was overflowing with awards. Certificates and pins for Good Citizenship were awarded to students from Bells, Sherman, Pottsboro, and Whitewright High Schools. The Whitewright student read his winning essay and was the recipient of a $75 savings bond.

Our speaker was the TSDAR District II Chairman, Margaret Jones, who presented an informative program regarding DAR committees and their various functions.

We gather together on the third Thursday of each month at 2:00 in the afternoon. We do not meet during June, July, and August. If you are interested in membership, please click on "Contact" and our regent will respond with the information you desire. .

You will find us a warm and inviting bunch.
