Our chapter seeks to inspire and promote patriotism while educating and engaging in historic preservation. We strive to give back to our community in several ways, including volunteer activities and partnering with other organizations to aid active military personnel, veterans, and their families. The Alma Merwine Bilsing Memorial Scholarship is available to any enrolled college junior or senior whose permanent residence is Montgomery County.  It is given each year by the Margaret Montgomery Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR).
