Jean Chaney, Mary Ann Olson, Jenny Griffin and Mary Talboys stand with the Federal Judge. Our Chapter, or the Brownsville DuBois-Hite Chapter NSDAR, are invited to represent NSDAR at each Naturalization Ceremony in Brownsville, Texas. During the ceremony, Mary Ann Olson spoke to the new citizens as U.S. flags were handed out.

In the 1930s, our chapter worked to have the Palo Alto Battlefield site preserved and memorialized. At that time our members placed this cannon on the site. Today, members stand by the cannon as we revisit our history in anticipation of our 100th anniversary as a chapter in April 2014.
