The John Everett Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), welcomes you to our website! About The DAR Founded in 1890 and headquartered in Washington DC, the DAR is a non-profit, non-political volunteer womens service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history and securing Americas future through better education for children. John Everett Chapter endeavors to pursue these goals on their county wide level, honoring Veterans, replacing tattered flags and providing books for children moving into new Habitat for Humanity houses. DARs volunteer work is accomplished under a committee system comprised of a national chairman appointed by the President General and locally appointed state and chapter chairmen. The national chairmen direct and supervise activities of their committees with the assistance of the national vice chairmen. Committees are grouped on the above-mentioned goals and objectives. Our chapter participates in several of the dozens of national and state committees. Membership Do you have a Revolutionary Patriot in your family?
