The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, founded in 1890 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children. Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolution is eligible to join. Membership in the DAR honors and preserves the legacy of your Patriot ancestor. DAR provides the opportunity to contribute to service projects, make lifelong friends, and participate in unique social and service-oriented programs within the community.

Heritage Trails Chapter meets at various locations in the Spring, Champions, and Woodlands area. Chapter meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month, September through May at 10 am. Visitors and prospective members are welcome at all meetings, except for the annual business meeting in January. If you are interested in joining the Heritage Trails Chapter, please contact us.
