Our chapter meetings are held from September through May on the second Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Sugar Land area. For more information, please check our Calendar and Events.

Visitors and prospective members are welcome at all of our meetings.

CHAPTER ACTIVITIES
The Fort Bend Chapter participates in the broad scope of DAR activities, including Texas State and National DAR projects, and the following:

Sponsors the American History and Good Citizenship Essay Contests.

Awards medals for ROTC excellence.

Honors the U.S. Constitution by observing Constitution Week and participating in the annual Constitution Day Luncheon.

Contributes to Veteran projects, Fisher House, the Houston VA Hospital, and many other DAR projects.

Awards the Maybelle Armstrong Nursing Scholarship annually in honor of one of our charter members who was also a past Chapter Regent and State Historian.

Supports and participates in special and various TSDAR projects for service.
