Naturalization Ceremonies
The Colonel George Moffett Chapter
participates in naturalization ceremonies held in Beaumont at the
Jack Brooks Federal Building, United States Courthouse. At the
conclusion of the formal procedures, our chapter hosts a reception
for the newly-pledged citizens, their families, and friends, where
we offer handouts of the Pledge of Allegiance and the American's
Creed, as well as small American flags. Our chapter has been
recognized at the Texas State Society DAR Convention for fostering the
recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance by providing this service.
